Kaiser Abdurusul OzHun is an artist and art appraiser specializing in Silk Road art, as well as a writer and literary critic focusing on Uyghur literature. He was born October 11, 1969, in Atush - East Turkistan. He is a 1994 graduate of the Fine Arts Department of Xinjiang Pedagogic University. From 1994 to 1999 he worked as a documentary-film producer and journalist at Xinjiang Central TV. Since 1999 he has undertaken graduate studies in languages and fine arts in Malaysia, Sweden and postgraduate at UK. He was General Secretary and Acting President of the International Uyghur PEN Centre (www.uyghurpen.com) 2006-2009, and was re-elected President in August 2009. He is currently based in Lund Sweden.
Dolkun Isa Secretary-general of World Uyghur Congress He launched activity to improve education for Uyghur children when he was student of Xinjiang University. In 1998, he led a student movement and performed a large scale demonstration in Urumqi to raise objection for ethnic discrimination and protection for ethnic education. After he was expelled from the university, he was involved in underground activity in Beijing such as publishing books on Uyghur history. Later he felt danger to stay on in China, and decided to escape to Turkey, and finally he moved to Germany. He established World Uyghur Youth Congress with young generations of Uyghur. He also worked for independence of East Turkistan in cooperation with Tibet and democratic activists of China. Chinese government felt fear for him and specified him as terrorist while international society has no such recognition. Currently he is secretary-general of WUC.
